GREENSBORO — Unifi has launched a new Repreve branded fibre derived from “bottles at high risk of ending up in the ocean,” with the goal of tackling the “root cause” of ocean plastic pollution.
The Repreve Our Ocean fibre is made from bottles collected within 50 kilometres of coastal areas and communities that lack formal waste or recycling systems.
