LAMESA – Textile Exchange’s Corporate Fiber & Materials Benchmark has opened for 2019 submissions following a six month review which has led to a number of significant changes to the programme, including greater focus on circularity and the Sustainable Development Goals, a new Uptake Calculations Guide and improved data validation processes.
The programme – previously known as the Preferred Fiber & Materials Benchmark – allows brands and retailers to systematically measure, manage and integrate a preferred fibre and materials strategy into mainstream business operations, and demonstrate commitment to greater transparency. It is open for submissions until July 19th.
