SHANGHAI – Shanghai’s government has announced that two textile manufacturers in the city are producing new nanotechnology-enhanced face masks that can be disinfected and reused as many as 20 times by consumers.

The Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Committee says the production of KN95 masks is expected to reach upwards of 300,000 per day in the coming weeks after its launch, due to greater demand in light of the coronavirus outbreak.
