DELAWARE – Better Buying, the textile industry initiative which allows manufacturers to anonymously rate their customers, has invited suppliers to take part in a short survey about the impacts the coronavirus is having on businesses and workers.

The move comes after retailers and brands cancel or suspend orders with sales nosediving and inventories piling up in the wake of the global pandemic.

“Through our short survey, we aim to get a pulse on how suppliers globally are being impacted – both by Covid itself and by their customers’ resultant purchasing practices,” Marsha Dickson, co-founder of Better Buying told Ecotextile News. “By highlighting these issues and their social, business, and environmental sustainability impacts at an industry-wide level, we will help persuade brands and retailers to re-examine their approaches.”

Textile manufacturers and suppliers can access the short three minute survey HERE.
