ZUG - The Laudes Foundation is inviting proposals from industry actors to assess the availability and viability of agricultural waste for use as feedstock for the production of textiles at scale.

The organisation, formerly known as the C&A Foundation, is pursuing the initiative as part of its ambition to encourage the use of more sustainable materials in the industry.

Some initial research on identifying technical innovations for using agricultural waste and residue as feedstock has already been conducted. This new study is intended to build on that research and propose specific recommendations for textiles production at scale.
