SAN FRANCISCO - Technology company Higg Co and the Open Apparel Registry (OAR) online transparency tool have announced what they describe as an "unprecedented collaboration" to streamline facility data records.
The integration allows apparel suppliers to link their Higg Index accounts to their OAR profiles enabling supply chain partners to access their Higg Index assessments via their unique OAR IDs.
The cross-referencing of data between the Higg and OAR platforms saves suppliers, buyers and NGOs time and improves accuracy by collating disparate facility lists into one repository.
