CAMBRIDGE – The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has launched a new cross-sector collaboration with industry leaders - including Zara owner Inditex - to explore innovation in addressing climate change.
The MIT Climate and Sustainability Consortium (MCSC) represents a broad range of industries and aims to vastly accelerate large-scale, real-world implementation of solutions to mitigate the threat of global warming.
As well as Inditex, companies lending their support to the initiative include Accenture, Apple, Boeing, Cargill, Dow, IBM, LafargeHolcim, MathWorks, Nexplore, RWCB, Pepsi and Verizon.
