COLOGNE – German fashion brand Armed Angels has published every partner within its supply chain via the Open Apparel Registry (OAR).
The OAR is a sector-specific online transparency tool that went live in 2019 after an initial beta testing phase the previous year. It highlights the locations of yarn and fabric mills, textile dye-houses, finishers and garment manufacturing facilities worldwide via an interactive Google-powered map.
Earlier today, the company took to Twitter to congratulate Armed Angels on its commitment. It said: “Fantastic to see leadership from an SME brand… proof that there are only benefits to be gained from smaller brands opening up their supply chains, too.”
