CALIFORNIA – Materials science company Avery Dennison has launched, a new digital transparency tool that creates a digital twin of products to map them throughout the supply chain.

The company says its new platform can be leveraged across industry by those in apparel and footwear, as well as sectors like cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, to offer its customers and their consumers insight into the movement of goods.

“We have the widest suite of use cases in the market, covering the true end-to-end journey from raw materials to the consumer – and all the way back,” a statement from Avery Dennison says. “Unlocking the power of connected products for global industries … can be adapted to serve any vertical and create a new competitive advantage.”
