MANCHESTER - Workers' rights campaigners are raising concerns over the progress of fast fashion company Boohoo in addressing labour rights abuses in its UK supply chain.
On the day of the fashion brand’s AGM, three groups - Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, Labour Behind the Label and ShareAction - say they are not convinced by Boohoo's actions so far.
Boohoo launched its Agenda for Change programme, under retired judge Sir Brian Leveson, after it emerged that some of its suppliers in Leicester paid workers less than half of the minimum wage and failed to implement COVID safety measures.
