ARKANSAS – US retailer Walmart has concluded this year’s Open Call, which gives small businesses the chance to pitch their products and land new deals. 

At the heart of this year’s event was Walmart’s American Lighthouses concept, through which it’s already pledged US$350 billion to support the nearshoring of product manufacturing over the next decade.

Of the 900 fledgling firms which are selected by Walmart through the Open Call event, support will be provided to enable domesticated production.
