DUBLIN – The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and The Community Foundation for Ireland have teamed up to fund a number of initiatives that’ll support the circular economy in industries such as fashion, food and toys.

They include a pilot project led by ReCreate Ireland to encourage young people to champion reusing, repurposing and redesigning the clothes they own rather than discarding them in a bid to combat apparel waste across the nation.

The success of this initiative will inform more expansive efforts over years to come, with the view to equipping the youth with the knowledge and tools to help lead the charge towards circular fashion.
