The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) has announced its Garment-to-Garment Recycle System research project (G2G) has won the Gold Award of the 2020 Hong Kong Green Innovations Awards (HKGIA).
This follows on from last week, when the project was also honoured with the Japan Institute of Design Promotion’s Good Design Best100 2021 prize.
The institute says these achievements not only recognise G2G’s ‘green’ credentials and innovative design but also confirm that the project excels in key areas of the level of innovation, environmental achievements, practicability and contribution to society.
