LUXEMBOURG - Leading brands and retailers including Adidas, C&A, H&M, Levi's, Nike, Patagonia, Target and VF Corp have signed up to a new initiative to help companies achieve net zero emissions in their supply chains.
 
The Value Change Initiative has been launched by certification bodies Gold Standard and SustainCERT who say it is the world's first programme to target scope 3 emissions.
 
Some 60 businesses, public sector organisations and non-profits have signed up to the initiative, while 130 technical experts worked together to create guidance and establish best practice on value chain projects.
