SOMERCOTES – British outerwear brand Rab is to pilot a new product rental service as it explores the potential of circular business models.
The company follows in the footsteps of Gore-Tex and Decathlon, who’ve launched similar offerings over the past month.
Matt Clarke, head of customer experience at Rab’s parent company Equip Outdoor Technologies, commented: “We have designed a process that makes it as easy as possible for anyone to choose the kit they need. At the same time, we’re offering an opportunity to try before you buy, while extending the lifecycle of our gear and reducing the need to buy new every time.”
