MEMPHIS – The US Cotton Trust Protocol has extended the deadline for cotton growers to enrol in its programme ahead of the 2021/22 crop.
Farmers keen to join the platform – which highlights the sustainability credentials of one’s land and yield – will have the chance to complete their data entry by April 30th.
Barry Evans, a grower enrolled in the programme, commented: “The trust protocol can be a valuable asset to a grower’s operations and the US cotton industry can only succeed if there is participation. I would encourage all my fellow cotton growers to join me in enrolling.”
