WINSTON-SALEM – Apparel company HanesBrands has published a progress report of efforts to meet its 2030 sustainability targets.

The company, which published its strategy in 2020, has established science-based targets (SBTs), reported reductions in its scope 1 and 2 emissions and implemented changes within its materials portfolio over the past year.

“By setting challenging goals and reporting against our progress, we are showing our commitment to sustainable practices and continuing our long history of acting responsibly, ethically and with transparency,” said Chris Fox, HanesBrands’ chief sustainability officer.
