VANCOUVER – Environmental non-profit Canopy has welcomed the latest batch of signatories to its CanopyStyle initiative, which has now topped over 500 members. 

Fashion industry stakeholders including Everlane, John Lewis and BAM Clothing have joined the cause, which now has 515 signatories representing more than US$850 billion in annual revenues.  

Marija Rompani, John Lewis’ director of ethics and sustainability, commented: “We recently launched the John Lewis Partnership's Plan for Nature which highlights our commitment to protect and restore nature. Initiatives such as this showcase our dedication to conserving forests for our planet’s climate and biodiversity. CanopyStyle is a brilliant addition to our sustainability work, and we look forward to our collaboration.”
