SAN FRANCISCO - Californian recommerce specialist Trove has published the first of what it says will be an annual assessment of the resale platforms of more than 40 leading fashion brands and retailers.

Trove runs branded resale and trade-in platforms for fashion companies, but insists that its 2023 Brand Resale Index is "agnostic of resale platform provider", although its own customers make up three of the five companies judged 'category leaders'.

Andy Ruben, founder and executive chairman at Trove, told Ecotextile News: "Trove is the largest branded resale platform provider on the market. If anyone knows the resale industry front to back, it’s us. We have vested interest in accelerating the space on behalf of the industry's growth and success."
