MILAN – Recycled cotton fibre supplier Recover has teamed up with textile machine builder Rieter and Portuguese textile mill Polopiqué to double the amount of recycled fibre content normally found in recycled cotton yarns.
The move, unveiled at the ongoing ITMA here in Milan, is a response to increasing demand from brands and retailers for high quality, fine ring-spun cotton yarns with a higher proportion of recycled fibre for making woven fabrics.
