GENEVA - Following on from its recent revision to its key Principles and Criteria document, Better Cotton has outlined how its explicit focus on climate change will prioritise mitigation and adaptation.
Better Cotton, which bills itself as the world’s leading sustainability initiative for cotton, published the third version of its P&C earlier this year. With a stronger onus on driving impact and promoting wellbeing in farming communities, the new version features a number of new subsections including a refreshed look at how farmers can adapt to changing climate conditions.
