SHANGHAI – Chinese viscose fibre supplier Tangshan Sanyou, has said it will further scale up its production of recycled fibre as part of its on-going relationship with Swedish cellulose pulp specialist Renewcell.
At the on-going Shanghai Yarn Expo, Tangshan Sanyou said it would raise its earlier commitment with Renewcell in October 2020 – to purchase 175,000 tonnes of its Circulose dissolving pulp over five years – to a new goal of 200,000 tonnes.
The move was lauded by the environmental not-for-profit Canopy at the Chinese yarn fair.
