NEW YORK - Iconic department store group, Macy’s Inc. has become a member of the US Cotton Trust Protocol in a bid to provide greater transparency across its sustainability progress.

Membership of the protocol will be used to bolster the group, which represents more than 700 store locations across the US, including the Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury brands, in its efforts to source cotton sustainably, drive positive social and environmental change within the cotton industry, and enhance transparency throughout its supply chain.
