GREENSBORO - Kontoor Brands, a global apparel company with a portfolio headlined by iconic consumer brands Wrangler and Lee, has announced that it has surpassed its 2025 goal of saving over 10 billion litres of freshwater since 2008.
The goal was reached two years ahead of schedule following Kontoor’s ramp up of its Indigood programme, a global initiative that initially focused on a foam-dyeing technology that reduced freshwater consumption in the dyeing process by up to 90% compared to conventional indigo dyeing.
