LONDON - Retails giants including IKEA and Decathlon are amongst more than 130 international businesses that have urged world governments to scale up work to phase out the use of fossil fuels.
In an open letter, more than 125 companies, representing nearly $1trillion in global annual revenue, have called on heads of state and governments attending the upcoming COP28 in Dubai to set clear targets and timelines for phasing down and out unabated fossil fuel use, and then back that up with policies enabling the rapid scaling of clean energy.
