FUJIAN - Sporting goods retailer Decathlon has announced a major renewable energy initiative in China that will allow 14 of its major suppliers to source their power requirements from an new offshore solar farm.
The company is fronting a renewable energy aggregated power purchase agreement with the Fujian Province-based, China General Nuclear Power New Energy Group (CGN), which has invested $190 million (1.4 billion yuan) in the new facility.
