STOCKHOLM - Swedish fashion retailer H&M has teamed up with the Singapore-based DBS Bank to launch what is claimed to be a first-of-its-kind green loan programme to help apparel manufacturers reduce their CO2 emissions.

Launched ahead of the COP 28 climate summit in Dubai, the collaborative finance tool provides access to sustainable financing to fund factory upgrades to help suppliers improve their energy efficiency and decarbonise.
