SYDNEY – Cotton Australia has urged all farmers to take action to avoid a repeat of last year’s "devastating" spray drift incidents which cost some growers millions of dollars in lost production.

The industry body says the 2022‐23 cotton season was one of the worst on record for spray drift costing some farmers tens of millions in the McIntyre and Balonne regions alone.
