GENEVA - The International Labor Organisation (ILO) has published a new report in which it calls for the increased use of occupational safety and health (OSH) frameworks to address the root causes of violence and harassment, including in the garment and textile industry, to encourage collective action for better work environments.

Citing issues in the Bangladesh garment industry, the ILO says that OSH measures are key to building an inclusive, integrated and gender-responsive approach to preventing and eliminating violence and harassment in the world of work.
