SAN GERONIMO — Sustainability non-profit Fibershed has published its annual Carbon Farm Impact Report which says producers in its 'Climate Beneficial Program' collectively sequestered nearly 18,000 metric tons of CO2e last year.

Producers in the programme implemented a total of 150 carbon farming practices in 2023, accounting for an estimated 17,905 metric tons of CO2e sequestered and a projected 23,677 metric tons over the next 20 years.
