WASHINGTON DC - The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is coming under pressure to beef up the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) amidst fears that loopholes are devastating US textile and apparel manufacturers.

The House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the US and the Chinese Communist Party has written to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas demanding immediate action.
