GREENSBORO – North Carolina-based fibre innovator Unifi has announced it has begun a cost-cutting programme and shaken up its leadership team in a bid to strengthen its financial position.
The company announced it had begun a 'profit improvement plan', including job losses, to reduce costs by $10-15 million annually and efficiency measures to bolster operating margins by another $6 million a year.
