MEMPHIS — The US Cotton Trust Protocol is claiming its growers achieved improvements in all of its key sustainability metrics during the last cotton season.

The protocol's new annual report says progress included a 79% reduction in soil loss, 83% of growers improving soil carbon levels, water efficiency up 14%, energy use down 27% and GHG emissions down 21% - all against a 2015 baseline.
