ANN ARBOR – US biotech firm Kraig Biocraft Laboratories has created its first premium yarn combining its recombinant spider silk with Pima cotton.
The yarn, described as a 100% natural fibre composite yarn for use in fabrics and finished garments, has been developed to target markets such as luxury dress wear and apparel.
