CLERMONT-FERRAND - Biotech firm Carbios has struck a deal with Landbell Group, a supplier of closed-loop recycling solutions, for the latter to supply raw materials to its new PET biorecycling plant.
Currently under construction, Carbios is building the world’s first PET biorecycling plant at Longlaville in the Grand-Est Region of France, which will use the company’s propriety depolymerisation technology for the processing of textile waste. Commissioning is expected in early 2025.
