WASHINGTON DC - The US Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) recently adopted climate-related disclosure rule has been put on hold following a legal challenge.

The US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit granted an 'administrative stay' temporarily halting the rule which requires listed companies to disclose their climate-related risks and CO2 emissions to investors.
