WASHINGTON DC - The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has put on hold its new rules requiring US listed companies to disclose their climate-related risks and CO2 emissions to investors.

Amidst multiple legal challenges, the regulator confirmed in a statement that it was staying the requirements pending a judicial review in the Eighth Circuit US Court of Appeals.
