LONDON – Global supply chains are under threat from a growing water crisis according to new research from global non-profit CDP, with the apparel sector offering mixed results in terms of reporting levels and overall performance.
Presenting its analysis on how companies are responding to water security, the report said that 35% of the apparel sector was reporting water supply chain risks, marking it as the best-performing sector out of the 12 surveyed in percentage terms.
