LONDON – Online auction house eBay UK has announced that individual sellers can now sell their pre-owned fashion items free of charge on its platform, a move designed to reduce the £16.3 billion ($20.5 billion) worth of clothing the company says remains unworn across the UK.

The change in rules has come in to force along with a series of other new upgrades on the site such as new AI-powered listings and an eBay Live feature.
