BRUSSELS - Austria, Finland, France and the Netherlands are calling on the European Union (EU) to allow member states to penalise ultra fast fashion e-tailers, such as Shein and Temu, for the impacts of their products.

The four countries have written a discussion paper ahead of a summit on 17th June when environment ministers are due to adopt their position on an upcoming revision to the EU's Waste Framework Directive (WFD).
