Project aims to create an AI-based model for sustainable fashion that can be replicated across the industry

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has launched an AI-based research initiative aimed at advancing sustainable fashion design and brand ecosystem management.

Led by the School of Fashion and Textiles, the project, ‘From tradition to tech: sustainable fashion design and brand management in the AI era’ will combine AI with other emerging technologies such as blockchain, cloud computing, big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT), with the aim of boosting sustainability and generating fresh opportunities for innovation across the fashion value chain.
