H&M Foundation is backing the Future Forward Factories’ initiative

The H&M Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the H&M Group, has pledged SEK 53 million ($5.6 million) towards Fashion for Good’s ‘Future Forward Factories’ initiative, which is working to address pollution stemming from the tier 2 textile processing stage across India.

Working with Indian textile manufacturer Arvind Limited, the aim is to develop a blueprint for sustainable textile manufacturing and to construct a physical facility that brings these innovations to life.
