Lenzing and OceanSafe link up on next gen yarn

Partners claim new yarn, unveiled at Performance Days this week, combines performance with environmental responsibility

LENZING / BERN – Man-made cellulosic fibre giant Lenzing has partnered with Swiss textile manufacturer OceanSafe to launch a next-generation yarn.

Showcased at Performance Days Munich on 29th-30th October, the new yarn combines Lenzing’s Tencel Lyocell A100 fibres with OceanSafe’s biodegradable 'naNea' co-polyester.
