Bangladesh garment factory ‘world’s greenest’

Bangladesh garment manufacturer Hams Garments Ltd has achieved the world’s highest-ever LEED Platinum score, with 108 points out of a possible 110 from the US Green Building Council.

The company was commended for its achievement at a ceremony organised by the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) in the capital city of Dhaka.
