Keel Labs has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the US after a landlord dispute put fresh pressure on the seaweed-based textile startup
RALEIGH — North Carolina-based biomaterials start-up Keel Labs, developer of seaweed-derived Kelsun yarn, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Court records show Keel Labs lodged a voluntary Chapter 11 petition on 5th June, listing assets in the range of $1–10 million and liabilities between $100,001 and $1 million.
