OECD flags gaps in FLA standard

PARIS — The Fair Labor Association’s (FLA) manufacturing accreditation has been rated only “partially aligned” with OECD due diligence standards for garment and footwear supply chains, despite covering all six steps of the OECD framework.

The OECD’s standards-only review focuses on FLA’s written requirements for brands and tier one textile and apparel manufacturers, rather than its implementation or governance.
