Green Claims axed, greenwashing rules remain

Widespread reports of the EU Green Claims Directive's demise are not exaggerated – although, technically, Brussels has given itself another six months to complete the paperwork.

The European Commission has earmarked the proposed Directive for withdrawal in its 2027 Work Programme, published on 4th November, citing stalled negotiations and insufficient support among EU member states.
