Spectre opens lower-emissions Vietnam factory

The $30 million LEED Gold-certified plant in Hung Yen aims to avoid about 1,600 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually

HUNG YEN – Danish garment manufacturer Spectre has opened its fourth Vietnamese factory, a $30 million facility designed to cut energy use, conserve water and expand production of technical outdoor apparel.

The new Spectre Hung Yen 2 plant at Song Tra Industrial Park has received LEED Gold certification, a building standard covering energy efficiency, water use and indoor environmental quality.
