Spike in to pollutions in

China textile industry

Research from MCL News & Media has highlighted a notable spike in the number of violation records in China’s textile dyeing and finishing industry in recent years since the introduction of legislative standards for printing and dyeing waste water were strengthened in 2012.

SAC AND OIA pen Higg Index agreement

The Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) and Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) have signed a new memorandum of understanding which will see specific Higg Index adoption targets set by the OIA for members and the SAC providing OIA members with access to the Higg Index web tool through 2017 and beyond.

Apparel sourcing at Texworld USA

Billed as the largest apparel sourcing event in North America, Texworld USA returns to New York this July.
