The webinar from the ECHA presents how retail giant H&M and a group of Italian textile SMEs from the Prato district organised themselves to replace harmful chemicals from their supply chains.
Greenpeace presents its successful Detox campaign, which ignited to formation of the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals Group (ZDHC), the International Chemical Secretariat (ChemSec) gives an overview of its available tools that are designed to help textile companies to responsibly substitute hazardous chemicals for those that have a lower toxicity profile, while the European Textile and Apparel Confederation (EURATEX) – which represents the joint interests of European textile manufacturing associations – presents its own initiatives around replacing potentially hazardous chemicals in textile supply chains.
